Retained Teachers Directory

Schools in need of short-term help due to teacher absence can use the Retained Teachers Directory to access a pool of recently retired teachers who are willing to support ISA schools.

This is not a traditional supply teacher arrangement. It is instead a directory of recently retired educators who are prepared to help schools seeking slightly more prolonged cover.

ISA schools seeking this nature of support can access this via the directory, whilst Members who recently retired can register themselves on the same website.

Please read the below letter to heads, which also includes a letter you can send to your own recently retired teachers to help populate the database:
